I plan to switch the Live365 stream from 64k mp3PRO to 128k mp3 this weekend. This means I have to stop the stream for one or two hours - I need that time to upload tracks in the new encoding. The laut.fm stream is not affected by this.
The main reason for this decision is that I'm tired of mp3PRO encoding errors - I have lot of tracks on my list from which I know that mp3PRO encoding failes. And there are even much more from which I don't know that and that simply sound terrible when played on EMjoy.
The disadvantage is that I have to reduce the number of tracks in my repository. But I'll try to compensate that with more frequent exchanges. |
